The Pike County Community & Economic Development Department provides technical and financial assistance for project activities which benefit the citizens of Pike County, Ohio.

The Community & Economic Development Department, in cooperation with federal and state of Ohio agencies, works to provide funding for eligible projects in the County in the areas of economic development, housing rehabilitation, and public works/ infrastructure improvement programs that meet federal and state objectives and benefits low- and moderate-income persons.

The Community & Economic Development Program provides communities with a flexible housing and community development resource that can be used to address locally identified needs that are eligible Community Development Block Grant activities and qualify under the national objective of Low- and Moderate-Income (LMI) Benefit or Elimination of Slum and Blight. The program includes competitive set-aside funding for Neighborhood Revitalization, Downtown Revitalization and Critical Infrastructure.
